Our landscapers ‘BigFish’ are so awesome, they are show garden superheroes. I was fretting about the Acer Fremanii blowing over in the wind and suddenly there was Tom with a wheelbarrow full of sandbags to pack around the base and stabilise them. I suggested that we should strap the Acer Royal Red upright but they beat me to it, the ‘Telehandler’ was on it’s way. Currently it is ratcheted to two concrete pylons, nothing is blowing that baby over. The rill and pool are taking shape and the detailing is so fine, no mortar is visible at all so you can really appreciate the quality of the stone.

I spent all day tracking down plants and tending to the ones we have, moving them into the sun, snipping off leaves, talking to them even…and I washed a lot of gravel!
