Phew, what a day. Our plants from Hortus Loci are being delivered on Monday and we knew we had to go down for the final selection….had  we booked a slot? No….we had talked to them about it but hadn’t actually arranged a visit. Even though they were rammed back to back with designer visits they managed to squeeze us in this afternoon, I think it’s the home made biscuits wot did it! We tanked down there and Claire took us around. We have got some real showstopper plants but will reveal those later, on delivery day!

This morning was spent nurturing the plants we already have, including the ones grown from seed….plunge feeding, manicuring and moving them into the sun. We have high hopes even at this late stage.

We got back from Hortus at 7:45 so their are no update pictures of the site  but a quick call to Tom confirmed the bottom of the pool was finished ( we made some last minute design changes) and the hole for the big Acer was dug. Can’t wait to see it tomorrow ….even though it looks like rain ☔
