The rain hammered down this morning and it was cold, far too cold for an early summer day, but Big Fish just put up a shelter and carried on working! Brrrr!
Bridget and I had the unenviable task of stripping the webbing back off the setts about 7mm.
The webbing is a nylon fabric that splinters as it is cut and irritates the skin and it is stuck down with some sort of superglue! The setts slightly overhang the stone walling and Jan won’t have any fabric visible at all. Soo cold my hands ached and easy as it might sound it was a yukky job. After that we varnished the benches, they look. even more gorgeous now!
3DDesign, another company that stepped up to help. Eventually, as we planted the Acer the sun broke through.
As the team pack up for another day we head for the plants to dispense some TLC and more manicures, come on guys……grow…….but not too quickly, just at the right pace so you look stunning on the day.
And then home to make lists of what needs to be done tomorrow…but check out the stonework in the pool……
